Ode to "Judge Jack"

There is a friend I have in mind,
Who is better far than most mankind.
He does not care for show or style,
But greets you with a pleasant smile.
He does not try to belittle others,
But treats mankind like real brothers.
And on life's way, when e'er he can,
Will help some poorer, weaker man.
He does not boast by word or deed,
But helps a friend if he's in need.
I think he's somewhat like the man,
In God's mind when he drew the plan.
